Meeting Objectives
At the completion of this conference the participants will be able to:
1. Describe operative strategies to employ when treating patients with a failed rotator cuff repair;
2. Differentiate between unstable and stable fracture patterns to optimize functional outcomes;
3. Analyze contemporary literature to determine which surgical treatment is most appropriate for a given physiological age and activity level of individual patients;
4. Identify the signs that may indicate the potential for intimate partner violence when evaluating patients in the outpatient setting; and
5. Describe the recently released American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Clinical Practice Guidelines on hip fractures.
